With GHA there are many ways that you are able to participate; we have volunteer opportunities in the field, as well as at home for those who aren’t able or don’t wish to travel.
GHA has established relationships in regions with long term projects. Expedition participants travel to various locations & engage in humanitarian adventures that support established organizations. Expeditions vary in length & participants can choose from expeditions that range from 1 - 12 weeks. The need is continuous, and it is our goal to provide continuous assistance. Below are the various types of volunteer experiences.
PANAMA
It is here in Panama “where the oceans kiss” that we have identified a great number of projects that are benefitting tremendously from our participation and support. Regardless of what your passion may be, we have a place for you. Whether you are looking to work in the areas of - childcare, skills training for adults, community clean-up, indigenous needs, climate change as it affects agriculture, medical services, disaster relief, or even helping build safe playgrounds...GHA has an opportunity for you in “The Volunteer Revolution”.

$ The “Virtual Volunteer” is for those who would like the volunteer experience from home. Take time anytime to lend your skills & experience to help find solutions to the issues at hand or become one of our active committee members. |

$$ "Extended Stay" is for those who plan to stay for a while. Placements are from 2-24 weeks. This unique Expedition involves countless volunteer opportunities, but space is limited. |

$$$ The "Campus Break" expeditions are for those traveling during university holidays and wish to combine a volunteer service experience with some fun and adventure. These expeditions are planned by our staff to run during major campus breaks throughout the year. |

$$$ Our “Group” expeditions are for those traveling with 6+ persons & are fully customizable to your budget & interests. Our logistics staff will plan as much of your experience as you would like, for as long as you would like. These flexible expeditions are a great way to strengthen families, friendships & the communities that you will be submerged in. |
